The new expansion, estimated to be completed by mid 2018, will add a total of 188,000 +/- square feet onto the existing facility. This includes 89,000 +/- square feet of exposition space, 67,000 sq ft of that column free with 40'' clear ceiling height, all connected with the existing 215,000 square feet of exposition space. The expansion will also add 14 meeting and banquet rooms including a 23,000 square foot second story Ballroom overlooking the new exposition space, and 16,000 square feet of upper and lower level pre-function space. The expanded facility will provide opportunity for larger tradeshows and exhibitions, new entertainment events, athletic events and much more. Once the new space is completed in mid 2018, Suburban Collection Showplace will be hosting events with up to 8,000 people all under one roof.
